group info - hi, my name is ___ and I'm a fanfiction addict (facebook)
Do you find yourself reading or writing fanfiction when you should be studying/working/sleeping/feeding the dog?
Do you have difficulty distinguishing fanon ideas from canon, after having read or written immense amounts of the former?
Do you wake up in the middle of the night, ruthlessly tormented by plot bunnies who refuse to let you be until you've satisfied them with sweet, sweet stories?
Do you go to movies with friends only to freak them out when you start using terminology such as "shipper," "slash," "smutfic," "fluff," "fics," "crossover," etc?
Do you have hundreds of fics saved to hard drive, CD, AND flash drive just in case your computer should crash?
Do you find yourself heading to fanfiction.net every time you finish a new movie, book, tv show, etc, as a means of of continuing the magic/rectifying some problematic part of the plot/seeing those people who should've hooked up, but didn't, finally get together/etc?
Do you notice that you've stopped reading novels almost entirely, only to realize that many of the fics you read or write are novel-length anyway?
If you can answer "Yes!" to any of these questions, this group may be for you.
